We got 3 quotes for our granny flat before deciding for our Marayong project, and Granny Flats X was $20–30k better on price than the other options we looked at. What really surprised us was that their inclusions were actually better as well. The contract was very clear and included the site works, connections, approvals and other major costs, so there were no nasty surprises later. The contract price was the final price, which gave us a lot of confidence when budgeting. We did have a few hiccups around Christmas and the holiday period, which is understandable with reduced availability, but what impressed us was that they still managed to hand over on the promised date. Throughout the build, their team was responsive and we could get answers whenever we needed them. They were always willing to explain things and help resolve any issues that came up. The granny flat is now finished, looks great and is ready to be rented out, which was our main goal.
